Who We Are

Upcycle Initiative is a student-led organization based at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego. We are a group of students committed to sustainability, creativity, and community service.

Inspired by the amount of new or barely used construction materials discarded at the end of projects, we founded Upcycle Initiative to turn waste into opportunity. By repurposing leftover materials, we create functional projects that reduce environmental impact while supporting local communities.

We believe meaningful change can start small—by rethinking what we already have.
